ITP is a global company that delivers high-technology products and services in the aeronautical and industrial engine market. Headquartered in Zamudio, Spain, the company is an original equipment manufacturer of critical components and parts for military and civil aircraft. It also provides MRO, support and aftermarket services. ITP is a Rolls-Royce Group owned corporate entity.
In Aug-2022, Rolls-Royce announced the Spanish Government approved the sale of ITP Aero to a consortium of investors led by Bain Capital Private Equity. ITP Aero will remain a strategic supplier and partner for Rolls-Royce's civil aerospace and defence programmes. Rolls-Royce completed the sale of ITP Aero on 15-Sep-2022 at an enterprise value of approximately EUR1.8 billion.
In Aug-2023, Indra and Bain Capital announced an agreement to purchase a 9.5% stake in ITP Aero for EUR175 million.
