Boeing Asia Pacific Aviation Services (BAPAS)
About
Established in 2015, Boeing Asia Pacific Aviation Services (BAPAS) was a joint venture between The Boeing Company (51%) and SIA Engineering Company (SIAEC; 49%). The joint venture leveraged Boeing’s original equipment manufacturer (OEM) services as well as SIAEC’s maintenance and engineering capacity to offer customised integrated suite of engineering, materials and fleet support solutions for Boeing 737, 747, 777 and 787 aircraft in the Asia Pacific and other markets.
In Jul-2022, SIA Engineering Company announced BAPAS intends to cease operations in Aug-2022 as per a mutual agreement of shareholders due to "challenges arising from the changing business environment".
