Bohai Financial Investment Holding Co Ltd., previously known as Xinjiang Huitong (Group) Co. Ltd and Bohai Leasing Co. Ltd, is an equipment and transportation asset leasing company headquartered in Beijing. Bohai Tianjin Leasing Co. Ltd and Avolon are wholly-owned subsidiaries of Bohai. Following the completion of a merger agreement with Avolon in Jan-2016, Bohai expanded its owned, managed and committed assets to more than 400 aircraft with an average fleet age of 3.2 years and a value of USD22 billion. Avolon serves as the core aircraft leasing brand for Bohai Leasing and its parent, HNA Group, and assumed management of the Hong Kong Aviation Capital (HKAC) business, another subsidiary. Subsequent to the merger, Bohai Leasing changed its name to Bohai Financial Investment Holding in Feb-2016, to reflect the company's plans to enter the insurance and securities market. Bohai is a subsidiary of HNA Group, and is listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange.
