Airlines for Europe (A4E) is an association that represents the interests of European airlines when dealing with European Union institutions, international organisations and governments on aviation issues in the continent. Airlines for Europe plans to campaign for the following three issues:

  • Reduction of European airport costs;
  • Provision of safe and efficient airspace by reducing the cost of air traffic control (ATC), and;
  • Stimulate greater economic activity and employment by creating an appropriate regulatory framework.

A4E was launched by easyJet plc, Ryanair plc, Deutsche Lufthansa AG, Air France-KLM SA and the International Airlines Group in 2016.
