This sovereign state located on the northern coast of South America has only one international airport - Cheddi Jagan International Airport (GEO) and one regional airport - Ogle Airport (OGL). Although GEO's infrastructure is poor, the airport has services from Caribbean Airlines, Delta Air Lines as well as Roraima Airways and Surinam Airways. Air transport plays a vital role in Guyana, linking coastal and regional areas. The body responsible for civil aviation in Guyana is The Guyana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA).
