The Falkland Islands are a cluster of islands located in the south of the Atlantic Ocean, approximately 650 kilometers from South America. The islands have two airports with paved runways, with the main being RAF Mount Pleasant Airport (MPN) and the second is Port Stanley Airport (PSY).

Falkland Islands Government Air service operates non-scheduled passenger services throughout the islands whereas LAN Airlines services international connections to Santiago, Chile and the Argentina.
