About
Stepanavan Airport serves the city of Stepanavan in Armenia’s Lori Province. The airport was constructed in 1982 and has not functioned since 2006. The government decided to transfer the airport to the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia in 2013. However, the airport is believed to be undergoing remedial construction work in order for its planned reopening by end-2015.
