Saint Helena Airport serves the island of Saint Helena, a British Overseas Territory in the South Atlantic. The airport features a 1550m runway and an airport terminal building of 3500sq m as well as support infrastructure including an air traffic control tower and fire station, bulk fuel installation for six million litres of diesel and aviation fuel and a 14km airport access road from Rupert's Bay to the airport. Saint Helena Airport was inaugurated on 10-Apr-2016, and welcomed its first commercial service on 14-Oct-2017, with SA Airlink's Johannesburg-Saint Helena service.
