Sabetta International Airport was certified by Russia's Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsiya) on Dec-2014 and received its first commercial service on 02-Feb-2015. The airport was constructed as part of the Yamal LNG project, and received international status by order of the Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsiya) in Jul-2015.
