Oruro Juan Mendoza Airport
Oruro International Airport is a newly constructed airport near Oruro, Bolivia. The country planned to open six new airports by 2014 at a total investment of USD100 million, according to Bolivian Ministry of Public Works, Services and Housing's Air Transport CEO Alvaro Salazar. One of them is in the city of Oruro. The Construction of the airport reportedly cost BOB133 million (USD19 million) and was carried out by Construcciones Viales Hidráulicas SA (CONVISA). It was inaugurated in 2013.
