Marsa Alam International Airport serves the eastern Egyptian Red Sea coastal resort of Marsa Alam. Opened in Oct-2003, the airport is owned by Kuwaiti firm M. A. Kharafi & Sons. In addition to Egyptian carriers, a number of European leisure and low-cost airlines operate services to Marsa Alam.
