Midtjyllands Airport is a public airport serving the municipalities of Viborg and Herning, Denmark. The airport was established as Karup Air Base, a military air field for  the Royal Danish Air Force. It is owned by nine municipalities in the Jutland region, including Herning, Holsterbro, Ikast-Brande, Lemvig, Ringkøbing-Skjern, Silkeborg, Skive, Struer and Viborg. The airport, previously known as Karup Airport, was renamed as Midtjyllands on 05-Feb-2017.
