Jiaxing Nanhu Airport is approximately 8km from the city centre in Xiuzhou District and serves as a primary airport for the Yangtze River Delta Metropolitan Region. Jiaxing Nanhu Airport was a redevelopment of the existing Jiaxing Air Base into a dual-use military and civilian facility. Jiaxing Airport Ltd was established in Dec-2010 as a dedicated entity to oversee the development, with a registered capital of RMB100 million (USD14.8 million). The airport received CAAC approval in Mar-2016 and commenced operations on 26-Dec-2025.
