About
Hanzhong Chenggu Airport is located northeast of the centre of Hanzhong city, in Shaanxi Province, China. Following its development into a dual-use military/civilian facility, the airport opened for operations on 13-Aug-2014, replacing Hanzhong Xiguan Airport, due to that airport's space limitations. Hanzhong Chenggu Airport is classified as a 4C category airport, setting 2020 as its target year, with annual passenger capacity to reach 300,000 and cargo capacity to reach 1300 tonnes.
