Ganzi Gesar Airport
Ganzi Gesar Airport is an airport located in the Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, China. It is the third airport serving the Tibetan prefecture, following Kangding Airport and Daocheng Yading Airport. Ganzi Airport is a 4C level regional airport, with a 45m x 4000m runway and facilities capable of handling 220,000 passengers and 660 tonnes p/a. Construction of the airport was completed in Aug-2019. Ganzi Gesar Airport commenced operation on 16-Sep-2019, becoming the 50th civil aviation airport in Southwest China and fifth airport in China with altitude above 4000m.
