About

Chengde Puning Airport is a new airport serving the city of Chengde, Hebei Province. Construction commenced on the airport on 16-Jul-2013, after it received CAAC Northern China Regional Administration approval. Chengde Airport was constructed according to a 4C category airport, with a 2800m runway, 5000sqm terminal and five aircraft parking bays. It launched commercial operations on 31-May-2017, with Shijiazhuang-Chengde service operated by Hebei Airlines.
