Alexandria El Nouzha Airport
Alexandria El Nouzha Airport is located 7 km south of the city of Alexandria, in northern Egypt. The airport has been closed since 2010 to allow for major redevelopment. The Egyptian Ministry of Civil Aviation announced plans to extend the runway and upgrade the existing terminal building to ensure its future as one of the two commercial airports serving Alexandria and Nile Delta region, the other being the larger Borg al Arab Airport, located 40 km south-west of Alexandria.
