Al Ula Prince Abdul Majeed bin Abdulaziz Airport is located approximately 25 kilometres southeast of Al Ula, Saudi Arabia. The airport serves as a tourist gateway to the pre-Islamic archaeological site of Mada'in Saleh and Al Ula Heritage Village. Al Ula Airport is operated by the Saudi Arabia General Authority of Civil Aviation. As of Aug-2014 the airport is ready to handle taffic but has not yet managed to attract any international airlines.
