Aden International Airport serves the city of Aden, Yemen. The airport is served by several foreign carriers including Saudia, Royal Jordanian and Turkish Airlines, in addition to serving as a base for national carrier Yemenia. Owned and operated by the Government of Yemen, Aden International is also acts as a base for the Yemeni Air Force.

In Jul-2015, and following a spell of closure resulting from an insurrection,Yemen's Transport Minister Badr Mubarak Ba-Salma announced a technical team from the UAE had arrived to assist with the re-opening of the airport. A mobile air traffic control tower has already been deployed. The airport will reopen in early Dec-2015, following the completion of work to repair damage inflicted during Yemen's ongoing civil war.
