Wizz Air Bulgaria was one of the operating airlines of Hungarian LCC Wizz Air. Wizz Air Bulgaria was part of Wizz Air's pan-eastern Europe expansion strategy, along with Kiev-based subsidiary Wizz Air Ukraine. Wizz Air Bulgaria aircraft carried the Wizz Air branding and operate on select services from Sofia (largely to Western Europe) with their own IATA code. The carrier ceased operations in 2011, and merged into parent carrier, Wizz Air.
