VLM Airlines Slovenia, also known as VLM Slovenia, was a Slovenian scheduled carrier based at Maribor Airport. The carrier was a subsidiary of SHS Aviation Slovenia, which is part of SHS Aviation - the company that acquired VLM Airlines in 2016. The company received a Slovenian AOC and announced plans to relaunch VLM Airlines as VLM Airlines Slovenia. VLM Airlines Slovenia operated with Fokker 50 aircraft before expanding with A320s and A330s. The company intended to operate eleven services to destinations in Europe and China, including Belgrade, Berlin, Hamburg, London, Podgorica, Split, Zurich, Xian, Chongqing and Nanchang. VLM Airlines Slovenia launched weekly Maribor-Dubrovnik and Maribor-Split services on 08-Aug-2017. From 31-Aug-2018, the carrier transitioned to a charter operations following a decision by SHS Aviation BV shareholders to liquidate N.V. SHS Antwerp Aviation (VLM Airlines). All services ceased on 03-Sep-2018.
