About

Viking International Airlines is a failed Norwegian start-up carrier that planned to provide passenger and freight charter services from its hub at Lakselv Banak Airport to destinations in the US and Asia. The start-up planned to primarily focus on freight charters utilising Boeing 747F equipment, as well as 747 'Combi' aircraft for proposed passenger services.  The project was ultimately abandoned, as investor Global First Response Inc missed the investment deadline to secure a stake in Northcape Turnaroundport AS, the start-up's parent company.
