About

Tigerair Taiwan is the country's first low-cost carrier and operates a route network covering destinations across Northeast and Southeast Asia, including Hong Kong, Macau and major Chinese cities. Tigerair Taiwan utilises a fleet of Airbus A320 aircraft. Tigerair Taiwan started as a JV between China Airlines (90%) and then-Tiger Airways Holdings (i.e. Tigerair Group). The airline was announced in late-2013 and commenced services in Sep-2014. In Jan-2017, China Airlines took full ownership of the LCC.
