StarLux Airlines

IATA: n/a
ICAO: n/a

StarLux Airlines is a planned Taiwanese carrier by former Eva Air chairman, Chang Kuo-wei. The start-up is expected to be established as a charter airline, tapping the premium business travel market with a mixed fleet of narrowbody and wide body aircraft to be acquired in 2018. The new company has been registered with the Ministry of Economic Affairs. Application for the start-up was submitted in early 2017 after the establishment of Hsing Yu Investment, an investment business with Mr Chang serving as a board member. The startup will operate Northeast and Southeast Asian routes initially, including Singapore, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong, Japan and Macau. A potential launch in 2020 has been advised.
