Star Aviation, which commenced operations in 2001, is an Algerian airline based at Oued Irara Airport, Hassi Messaoud. The carrier is a privately-held JV between oil and gas company: RedMed Group (Algeria) and Zimex Aviation (Switzerland). Star Aviation operates both domestic and charter services for the oil and gas industry.
