About
Somali Airlines was the flagship carrier of Somalia, operating international and domestic services from its hub at Mogadishu. The government owned carrier operated with a mixed fleet consisting of narrow body, wide body, turboprop and fixed wing aircraft. It ceased service operations in 1991, following the collapse of the Barre government.
