About
SmartLynx Airlines Malta is the Maltese subsidiary of SmartLynx Group. The carrier was granted an AOC in Malta on 22-Apr-2019 from the Transport Ministry Civil Aviation Directorate. SmartLynx Airlines Malta provides ACMI services and is based in Malta International Airport.
In Jun-2020, Smartlynx introduced its first freighter aircraft registered in Malta, the A321F, with the registration 9H-CGA. This is the first aircraft of its type to be registered in Malta and also the first of its type to be introduced to the SmartLynx line-up.
