Sky Alps

Virtual Carrier
IATA: n/a
ICAO: n/a
Country/Territory: Italy

Sky Alps is a proposed virtual carrier to be based at Bolzano Airport. The start-up plans to operate domestic scheduled services with Dash 8-400 aircraft. It planned to launch service operations in May-2020, with twice daily Bolzano-Rome service operated by Luxwing. Sky Alps delayed the launch of operations to 14-Jun-2021. The delay relates to finalising arrangements at planned destinations in Sardinia, Sicily and Calabria. A revised launch date has not been advised.

In Apr-2021, Chorus Aviation announced its Chorus Aviation Capital (CAC) leasing unit entered into long term agreements to lease two Dash 8-400 aircraft (MSNs 4230 and 4237) to Sky Alps.
