Seychelles Airlines

Full Service Carrier
Failed to Launch
IATA: n/a
ICAO: n/a

Seychelles Airlines was a planned start-up that had initially intended to commence services in Jun-2014 with a two-class, 243-seat Boeing 767-300ER equipment. However, on 26-Jun-2014, CEO Ahmed Afif announced that the carrier had deferred its launch date to 2H2014, pending the approval of its AOC application. As of Nov-2014, the airline's application has been suspended. Seychelles Airlines was backed by Intershore Aviation Limited, a subsidiary of a diversified finance and real estate investment company. The carrier intended to serve destinations in France, Germany and Italy and then expand to India, Russia, Singapore and the UK.
