Salalah Air is a proposed charter operator founded by CEO Sam Owen. Salalah Air is an Omani-owned company which plans to operate charter air services from bases in Salalah, Sohar and Duqm. The carrier plans to complement service operations of Oman Air and Salam Air. It was expected to commence charter operations from 18-Nov-2016, with Salalah-Bosaso service, after signing a memorandum of understanding with Golden Safari Company. A revised date has not been advised. Salalah Air signed a MoU with Embraer to acquire one Phenom 300 and one Legacy 450 aircraft to commence charter services.
