Romcargo is a cargo carrier based in Romania. In Feb-2022, Romcargo submitted an application to the US Department of Transportation (US DoT) requesting an foreign air carrier permit and individual exemption to operate scheduled and charter US-EU freight services. The US Department of Transportation granted Romcargo Airlines exemption authority to operate cargo services between the EU and US on 21-Mar-2022. The department also tentatively granted Romcargo's request for a foreign air carrier permit.
