Polar Líneas Aéreas S.A. was a proposed Argentinean low cost carrier to be headquartered at Valle del Conlara Airport. The start-up planned to operate passenger and cargo services across Argentina, using Boeing 737 aircraft during its initial phase. Polar planned to launch international services from Merlo as well as La Plata at a later stage. It planned to launch service operations in 2018. In Apr-2018, Argentina authorised Polar Lineas Aereas to handle non regular domestic and international transportation of passengers, cargo and mail with DC10, A340 and Boeing 737 aircraft. A revised launch date has not been specified, it is assumed that the carrier has abandoned plans to launch operations.
