Established in 1994, Phoenix Aviation is a charter carrier based at Nairobi Wilson Airport, in Kenya. Phoenix Aviation operates charter services throughout the African continent, to the Indian Ocean islands and to Europe. The carrier also has approval to operate charter passenger and cargo services to China. In addition to this, Phoenix operate search and rescue/air ambulance and VIP missions. The carrier utilises a mixed fleet of light business jet, turboprop and rotary-wing equipment. Aside from its flying operations, Phoenix also provide Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) services. The carrier is owned by Frontier Services Limited, a subsidiary of Hong Kong-based, DVN Holdings Limited.
