About

Norwegian Air Sweden is a proposed subsidiary of Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA operating in Sweden. Norwegian received and AOC from the Swedish Transport Agency and also took delivery of its first Swedish registered Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft at Stockholm Arlanda Airport on 21-Nov-2018. The US Department of Transportation (DoT) granted Norwegian Air Sweden exemption authority and a foreign air carrier permit on 11-Feb-2019. Scheduled services are expected to commence in Aug-2019. IATA assigned the LE code to Norwegian Air Sweden.
