About
Ningxia Cargo Airlines was a proposed Chinese start-up to be based at Yinchuan Hedong International Airport. The carrier was to become the first cargo carrier based in West China. The start-up has registered capital of CNY120 million (USD18.8 million) and is backed by Shan'xi Tongyang Investment Management (53%) and Xi'an Huijie Logistics Co (44%), with Shanghai Chongda International Freight Co, and Shan'xi International Air Freight to hold the remainder of the company. Ningxia Cargo planned to provide a network of domestic cargo services, initially utilising three Boeing 737-300 freighter aircraft purchased from Zhejiang Loong Airlines. The airline planned to launch its services in 2015 and in Jun-2016. However, the CAAC revoked Ningxia Cargo Airlines' enterprise business license following a review.
