Maastricht Airlines, a proposed Dutch start-up, planned to launch services from Maastricht Aachen Airport to Amsterdam, Berlin and Munich on 25-Mar-2013. Maastricht Airlines filed for bankruptcy after two failed launch attempts on 30-May-2013. The airline had received a EUR100,000 start-up subsidy from Maastricht Council and EUR235,000 from the Limburg Provincial Council. The airline is now looking for a new investor.
