Kalahari Airways was a proposed Botswana carrier to be based at Gaborone International Airport. The carrier planned to launch twice weekly Cape Town-Gaborone-London Gatwick service, using A340 equipment. It planned to commence in Nov-2016, however, funding issues forced the carrier to delay its launch. A revised commencement date has not been specified, it is assumed that the carrier has abandoned plans to launch operations.
