About

Jet Time was a passenger and cargo charter airline based at Copenhagen and Billund airports in Denmark. The airline was established in 2006 to serve tour operators and other clients requiring ad hoc use of wet-leased aircraft. Jet Time operated service to destinations in the Mediterranean, Canary Islands and North Africa. In 2016, Jet Time discontinued two of its four business operations and focused on BTB Charter Productions for European tour operators and on ACMI where it operated on behalf of other airlines. The carrier noted, this restructuring was carried out using a fleet of eight Boeing 737-700 aircraft. The two discontinued business areas were the Cargo segment and the ACMI unit for SAS. The phase out of the two business areas happened in a controlled process by Sep-2017. Jet Time and SAS completed the gradual phase-out of the eight ATR 72-600 aircraft that Jet Time operated for SAS. Jet Time continued to operate freight and passenger services with Boeing 737 aircraft. Jet Time filed for bankruptcy on 21-Jul-2020 and registered a company under the name 'Jettime A/S', which has subsequently received an AOC.
