ITA Transportes Aéreos (previously Itapemirim Linhas Aéreas) was a carrier based at Sao Paulo Guarulhos International Airport. The carrier received an air operator's certificate (AOC) from Brazil ANAC on 30-Apr-2021. Brazil ANAC granted ITA Transportes Aéreos a concession to operate scheduled and charter passenger and cargo services to domestic and international destinations on 20-May-2021.

ITA Transportes Aéreos completed its inaugural flight, a Sao Paulo Guarulhos-Brasilia service, on 29-Jun-2021. The route was operated with 162 seat A320 aircraft.

On 17-Dec-2021, Itapemirim Airlines temporarily suspended operations due to "internal restructuring" measures. Brazil ANAC suspended the company's air operator certificate as a result.

On 07-Jan-2022, Brazil ANAC prohibited Itapemirim Airlines from resuming ticket sales. The decision will remain in effect until the carrier demonstrates compliance with measures such as full refunds to customers affected by the airline's suspension of operations and responses to all passenger complaints listed on the government platform.

Itapemirim Airlines was acquired by Baufaker Consulting in Apr-2022.

On 05-May-2022, Brazil ANAC permanently revoked Itapemirim Airlines' air operators certificate (AOC). Due to the carrier ceasing to respond to consumer complaints following the suspension of its operations.
