About

Green Airlines was a German virtual airline based in Karlsruhe. Green Airlines launched its initial Paderborn-Sylt service on 26-Mar-2021. Luftfahrt Bundesamt confirmed Green Airlines applied for an Air Operators Certificate in Jul-2021.

In Nov-2021, Green Airlines announced plans to suspend activities until Feb-2022, due to decreased demand during the winter 2021/2022 schedule. The airline planned to resume operations from 14-Feb-2022, the flights were later rescheduled to commence from 28-Mar-2022.

In Apr-2022, Green Airlines terminated all scheduled and charter operations. It is assumed the carrier has ceased operations.
