Fly540 is a Kenyan LCC based at Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. The airline was established in 2005, operating scheduled passenger and freight services to destinations in East Africa. Fly540 launched commercial service operations with a Nairobi-Mombasa service using ATR 42-320 equipment in Nov-2006. Fly540 commenced international services to Tanzania and South Sudan in 2010.
On 16-Nov-2022, Competition Authority of Kenya (CAK) issued Fly540 a cease and desist order from advertising and receiving flight bookings, effective immediately, until ongoing investigations are completed. The carrier's AOC expired on 30-Sep-2022.
