Fly Blue Crane was a South African carrier based at Johannesburg O R Tambo International Airport. The carrier operated scheduled regional services to under-served destinations in Mozambique and Tanzania. Fly Blue Crane was backed by Pretoria-based aviation consultancy, Blue Crane Aviation. Directors of Blue Crane included former South African Airways CEO Siza Mzimela, Commercial GM Theunis Potgieter and former SAA Head of Revenue Planning Jerome Simelane. Fly Blue Crane suspended service operations in Feb-2017.
