Ecuatoriana Airlines is a proposed airline to be based in Ecuador. On 02-Sep-2020, Ecuatoriana Airlines filed for an AOC to handle commercial passenger, mail and cargo air transport services. The carrier will be based at Quito Mariscal Sucre International Airport and plans to operate services to Cuenca, Loja, Tulcan, Esmeraldas, Salinas, Guayaquil, Santa Rosa, Lago Agrio, Coca, Macas, Manta. Ecuatoriana Airlines plans to launch operations in Jun-2021 with two Bombardier aircraft and to end the first year with a fleet of six Q400/Q200s.

On 26-Apr-2021, Ecuatoriana Airlines announced it plans to acquire Boeing 717-200s for its "second phase of operations".
