CIT (Caribbean Island Transport) Airways was a proposed carrier that was scheduled to launch in early 2014. CIT Airways announced plans to launch a Caribbean carrier, offering direct flights between Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Antigua and Dominica utilising Boeing 737-300 and Embraer ERJ equipment. In Jan-2014, CIT Airways said it was undergoing a rebranding programme and shut down it's official website and social media pages. CIT stated it will relaunch the Dominican carrier under a new brand.
