Cambodia Airlines was a start-up JV between the Royal Group and San Miguel Corporation, parent of Philippine Airlines (PAL) at the time. PAL was expected to invest USD10 million for a 49% equity stake in the start-up, which planned to operate domestic and international services from Cambodia utilising two leased A321s and two Bombardier Dash 8s. Royal Group was last reported seeking a new investor for the carrier, after PAL withdrew it's interest in the JV.
