About

Founded in 1993, Bural operated regional services throughout Russia from its hub at Ulan-Ude Airport. The carrier retired its jet fleet including the IL62, IL86 and Tuplolev Tu154 in 2002 and operated with a fleet of turboprop aircraft and helicopters until 2016. Russia's Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsiya) annulled Bural's Air Operator's Certificate (AOC), effective 07-Feb-2017, citing technical issues.
