Low Cost Carrier
ICAO: n/a
Country/Territory: Australia

Bonza is a proposed independent low cost carrier to be based in the Sunshine Coast, Australia. The airline planned to commence operations in early 2022 with Boeing 737 MAX 8 equipment. The carrier is backed by US private investment firm 777 Partners and plans to offer more travel choices at ultra-low prices across Australia.

In Oct-2021, Bonza CEO Tim Jordan stated 2Q2022 is when the carrier expects to receive an AOC and launch.

In May-2022, 777 Partners VP Adam Weiss said the carrier plans to operate five Boeing 737 aircraft from 2H2022, noting the pandemic delayed things.
