Billion Air is a failed Italian start-up that planned on delivering exclusive, premium services from Olbia Costa Smeralda Airport with three times daily service to Milan and Rome. The carrier intended to utilise Boeing 737 aircraft configured with 52 business class seats. Billion Air was backed by Italian businessman, Flavio Briatore, and was scheduled to commence operations on 23-Jul-2015. Mr Bratore decided to not launch the airline.
