Alpha Express Airlines was based at Riga International Airport and was founded in 2012. The carrier received its AOC in Mar-2013 and provided charter/ACMI passenger and cargo services. Alpha Express operated as a cargo carrier before its relaunch in 2012, utilising A300 aircraft. Alpha Express Airlines returned its sole aircraft, an A320-200 to BBAM Leasing and Management in 2014.
