Air Djibouti
About
Air Djibouti (also known as Red Sea Airline) is a relaunch of the former national carrier of Djibouti operating between 1963 and 2002. Air Djibouti signed an MoU with Cardiff Aviation, a UK based MRO provider, to organise a European-level AOC for the new carrier, source aircraft as well as provide operational management services and MRO support. The carrier operates scheduled services to regional and international destinations. Air Djibouti launched its inaugural flight on 16-Aug-2016 with a one-off Djibouti-Addis Ababa service. Regular service operations commenced on 22-Aug-2016. In Nov-2017, Cardiff Aviation handed over control of the airline to local management.
